We are happy to announce the launch of the first ever Middle East Diversity & Inclusiveness Think Tank in collaboration with the French Business Council for Dubai & Northern Emirates, and the individual participation of Hasan Rafiq, Cultural Agility expert, and Assistant Director – Diversity & Inclusiveness Middle East North Africa at EY, who was an active part in co-creating the vision and mission of the Think Tank.
The event that was held at a thoughtfully selected location at the heart of the Dubai International Financial Center, Intersect, brought together the HR community, D&I experts and CSR specialists from 23 multinationals and 4 industries. It was fascinating to learn how other organizations are shaping their D&I journey and identifying ways through which we can collaborate and fast track our regional progress in this space.
As this was our kick off session – we agreed to identify specific expectations and look forward to a series of 6 events over the next year. We are extending the invitation to all professionals with an interest in the rising issue of Diversity & Inclusion across the Middle East. This is really an exciting opportunity to learn more about what you can do in your organization to embed some of the regional inclusiveness best practices that we will be showcasing in the coming months.
